Third time you've asked this. No, I/we don't.

Also Asians is a very vauge term. You're gonna get a plethora of answrrs from every different type of Asian. Indians will answer differently to Pakistanis, who will answer different to Chinese Asians.

Somehow I always seem to be living in a place with quite a lot of Nepalese people. I find things easier that way e.g. going to each other's house for festivals and going to cultural parties together.

I was bullied because I was Asian in like Year 3 and 4 (since everyone else were white) but it's never happened to me now.

Yes I feel as comfortable as an average white guy.

I have only lived in London so I don't know.

I do already live in a majority white area (75% white).

No I have never experienced racism.

No I don't consider that when moving. I don't live in an Asian area right now anyway. Most of the neighbouring families are white.

I think Britain is more tolerant of me than the country my parents are originally from so I am definitely very happy here.

nope it doesnt matter @defenestrated answer these ur posh ini
Define 'Asian'.
I feel comfortable most of the time in the UK. I've never lived in London, only in the North of England, near Manchester for all my life. It could be worse, considering I do like in a 'majority white' neighbourhood, but we are treated well here all the time. Based on living here, I've never been the victim of severe racism. I think only some Asians look at other Asian communities in particular, mainly the more traditional families. Our family is not one of them, so we do not look specifically at other Asian communities to live in. Most British people are pleasant people, who are tolerant of other races, but the Jeremy Kyle show, and the football fans in France at the moment are, gladly, only representative of a minority of the British population, who are the part of the racist, intolerant society.

I'm Asian but born and reside in London. I have to say that I see more Asians than I do whites so I don't really feel uncomfortable. There are a lot of Asian shops an cuisines where I live and even buses include Asian adverts so I don't feel uncomfortable. However when I go to other cities occasionally I do feel uncomfortable.

Is there a difference between the Asian and the orientlal/ East Asian experience? I sense the UK these days is much less tolerant and there are quite a few racists about.

Yep! I didn't know that London was particularly Asian, instead of just a mixing pot of diversity? I was born in London, so even if I can't remember living there I must have been fine with it ;P But I live in a majority white (95% - we're the only South Asians within the nearest couple of streets) area right now, so clearly I'm okay not living in an 'Asian area'.
The only racism I experienced was part of a larger incident of bullying in year 5/6 where my parents ended up taking action against the school, so I pretty much just see it as "something else a bunch of useless kids thought they could use to be mean". Other than that, it's always really minor stuff like "you're Asian, of course you're going to get good grades!" which is annoying as all hell but easily dealt with with a few raised eyebrows and sarcastic comments.

Tbh, I like living in the UK. Most people don't even mention my race (my school is hugely diverse - it's about a 50/50 split between white and non-white kids), and anyone who does gets put off with a pointed comment or three. Plus, had I been living in India right now I would have probably had a lot more societal pressure for me to not achieve the dreams I want to achieve. I'm one of those kids who can't really speak the language their parents spoke in their youth (I know the words for food stuff in Hindi but that's about it) so I see myself as more British than anything else, to be honest.

Well I feel very comfortable living in the UK, I was born in Middlesbrough, and I live in a majority white area (roughly 85%) I have experienced a bit or racism but that was when we moved in to London (so early days) but many people got used to it....and I love where I live, I have managed to socialize very well with those who I have never dreamed of. And yeah when I am older and move, I would yes move to a majority white area. I have grown to be quite fond of the area where I live in!
1. Yes, I feel fine
2. I don't know yet, I've only ever lived in an Asian area so far
3. Yeah, why not?
4. A bit
5. My parents would, I personally wouldn't move to another Asian area.
asian is a very big term, different parts of asia will face different experiances in england.

My wife is east asain, and has a very different time from my indian friend.

All in all, I would say things are not perfect, but when it comes to how differnt countries outside asia treat asian people, england is one of the best.
I cannot see why not
1) Yes
2) Funnily enough I wouldn't feel that comfortable living in an Asian area
3) I grew up in a majority white area (Wilmslow in Cheshire)
4) No
5) No
Do you Asians feel comfortable living in the uk?
I feel comfortable.
Do you only feel comfortable living in London and other Asian areas?
Not necessarily. I'd prefer a diverse atmosphere.
Would you ever consider moving to a majority white area?
Yes. I wouldn't mind at all.
Have you experienced any racism living here?
Yes. A few times unfortunately. From white people. But I know that not all white people are racist and for the most part they've always been incredibly nice.
When you move house, do you always buy houses in other Asian communities?
Never moved house. I've always lived in an Asian neighbourhood but I spent a lot of my childhood in a majority white area.

I'd be happy living in a white area... I'd just have to travel a bit to find some good masala powder I guess... :/

Ebay is your friend. Seriously. There are people grinding this stuff and shipping it out next day, it's great.

Islamic extremeism has made it worse for all "brown" people tbh. The rise of the far right in response has led to the proliferation of racist views.
The Asians that don't feel comfortable are the ones that don't or won't integrate. You won't see them down the pub on a Friday night socialising. They won't class themselves as one of "us" during tournaments like the euros. They will clad themselves head to toe in that garment. The list is endless. Maybe the question should be do English people feel comfortable in the uk

Being British-Asian in a majority white neighbourhood in Yorkshire for all my life is pretty much all I know. Like our neighbours are really cool, a lot of my friends are white and I don't feel like I've been treated differently. I feel London Asians are stuck in this bubble and you guys need to get out more. If you're not used to seeing white people or even being friends with white people you should seriously consider moving elsewhere imho.
