what just happened?

I think I got everything right if I didn't make any silly mistakes.
But there was solid of revolution question which was a double parts thing and
x=1 to x=1/3
y=(ln3x)/x
For which I got something like pi (-(ln3x) ^2+2ln3+4) I can't remember exactly but it was ugly

Finding range we had to differentiate to get maximum point

Then we had to show secx+tanx=-0. 2 given that secx-tanx=-5, my friends had problem with it and it was 2 marks but I took half a page to work it out!

I get the same as you for the volume. For the trig, it's just difference of two squares.

I got -21.3 and -88.7 too, how did you get 3 root 5 /3

It was -root5 im pretty sure
How does clearing work again????????????????

I sat the test today and took a look at the past grade boundaries / 100 UMS. I reckon the grade boundaries will be something along the lines of

100 UMS - 70 (maybe 69)
A* - 63
A - 58
B - 51
C - 46
D - 41
E - 36

Looks accurate
what the actual **** was that paper, AQA really like to screw us over

That was the most horrific thing in the world!
On the integration by parts of ln(3x)/x multiplied by something or whatever it was, i got the integration by parts..... but then with the rotating around an axis... how did people make the numerator ln(3x) because it was squared???
so it looks like I know what I'll be doing next year...

Answers I remember

Area of OAB= (e^2+1)^2/e^3
Volume=pi(-(ln3)^2 + 2ln3 + 4)
p root q=-root5

Range f(x) =<24ln2 - 8 (iirc)
gg(x) =x

Some *****y fraction somebody Posted for substitution

Attached for show that secx+tanx=0.2

easier way to do it is say sec^x-tan^x=1 intput this into the -5 then simplifi
That was worse than conceding a 90th minute goal on Fifa .
This exam has made me very angry at people who have:

A) Extra time
B) Unconditionals

Could be worse. They could have given you y = (ln x)/x and asked you to prove e^pi > pi^e or something.
Is it bad that I found that paper harder than i found all my FP modules last year?
I think AQA are getting all the trickier questions or of their system before th new spec comes into play.

I got that as well
I ended up with x>6 and x<-1 or something like that, anyone else?

What about the mod question? I had like -6,1,2 and 4 as the intersections or something? I can't really remember
