no delocalised electrons in the water question

I think the answer is no free ions not electrons
There was also a 1 marker in the electrolysis section asking what gas was formed

That's what I wrote too because even if heat is lost, a digital thermometer which can detect small changes in temp will still not show the true value.

i wrote use a scale to measure the magnesium strip, becuause its accurate in measuring, lol is that correct?

What if I wrote ammonia chloride instead of ammonium chloride? -.-
And also a half equation question (can't remember the question number) to which I think the answer was 2Cl- ---> cl2 + 2e (or something like that)

it was hydrogen gas
Anyone got the mark scheme for c3???
i put 200g not 200kg fuming
for the fertiliser question reckon i will get any marks?
does it count if I wrote nitrogen chloride instead of ammonium chloride? 😩

That's more of a control variable I think. What did you write for changing temp. to 5 degrees? I said place flask in a cold water bath.

Is this in C2 there is no any question asking u to draw this

What question are you on about here?

This was c3. But even though would i get the 4 marks? I didnt draw a curved diagram and on a past mark scheme it says 1 mark for reaction pathway curve correctly drawn. ??

I left that question empty but i think thats right

Omg seriously I literally guessed that yaaasss
What did people put for this equation question: ___Cl- arrow👉🏻 Cl2 +____
Does it matter that i said ''the amount of hydrochloric acid'' instead of the ''volume'' ? Also, i wrote for question 1d about changing apparatus that they could use a thermometer with smaller intervals to make it more accurate. I was about to write ''use an electric thermometer'' but then went against it. Think I'll get the marks? :s-smilie:

i put 2CL- > Cl2 + 2e-

Not sure if it's right tho..

the answer is no ions. Completely purifying water means the ions are removed so it can't conduct electricity.

<<< says the internet. I wrote no delocalised electrons. :h::angry:

Thats right because your gaining 2 electrons altogether.
Could you say the solution was cloudy because the two chemicals were mixed together?
