Thinking of downloading Netflix - is it worth it?

what kind of films do they have on there? Anything recently in cinemas or just old stuff?

It's free to try, why not give it a go?

I'd say it's better for TV boxsets rather than films personally.

Agreed. Netflix is perfect for binge-watching series of shows.

You get a month free trial, the same as with nearly every subscription service on the planet.

You get a free trial, I pay £6.99/month although it's going up by 50p

Can I cancel after the free period? Or do they just bill you automatically?

I just looked on there and there's hardly any decent films, not even any Star Wars films, and only 1 LOTR film.

You can change it so that you get access to the same stuff as the USA Netflix. I don't think it's legal but hey ho

If you scroll up you'll notice me saying it's fairly naff for films but great for boxsets. Unsure why you're telling me this like it is news.

Incidentally I certainly wouldn't classify any of those as recent films.
