Worst paper I've ever done for unit 4, I did AS two years ago, a lot of this paper was AS and awkward graph question with little A2 knowledge. Wtf are edexcel doing. Fertilisation of plants? Why.

Could agree more with the above. That paper was absolutely terrible - so much AS and the 6 mark question at the end I don't think I even picked up 1 mark there as I had no idea wtf to write at all. I mixed up the properties of globular and fibrous proteins completely so literally wrote the opposite , and ran out of time so left a 4 marker out. Literally I am waving goodbye to university after that I just completely cracked , so disappointed. Only thing that could save me is grade boundaries but I think some people found it ok
I feel like that was one of the worst papers there's been, I did an IAL paper that had preparing microscope slides and plant fertilisation in it and it had the lowest grade boundaries there's been so I feel like it's gonna be the same for this paper

Exactly. I could not tell it was a rough ER from the image so just put ribosome based on what the question said it's role was.
