what to wear for an open/induction day?

So on Monday i've got this induction day / open day at my new sixth form college and i was wondering how should i dress up...smart or casual? i.e. skirt, dress or trousers? this as i want to make a good impression cus its the first time i'm meeting my teachers, future friends etc..... i'm so nervous as i have no idea what to expect :/

Depends on the school and have you already been accepted? Cant you just go smart casual? Not a scruff, but as theres no interview, then you dont have to be over the top. No jeans or trainers.

That's just you.

OP its not going to be a big deal, just dont be scruffy. It's just an open day. Take notice of what other people are wearing and any clothing rules so you dont break any when you start.
