I cant believe i couldnt get a point of intersection for the vector question! I know how to do them but somehow my values from the simultaneous equations kept showing that they are skewed :frown: ...pretty upset to the point that i couldnt think straight for part c)

Might have just missed out on an A* then - damn!
I might have just got a B haha
Anyone remember the equation you had to split into partial fractions for the first question?

I was so scared whilst doing first 5 questions because they were too nice and I was so convinced that the paper must have some nightmarish question lol
Glad to have been proven wrong.

Everything was very standard until question 7 imo. The vector geometry question had a strange arrangement but the difficulty was the same as every other recent vector geometry questions.

Question 7 algebra was slightly more involved than usual but nothing out of ordinary.

Question 8 would've been very difficult for non fp2 students had they not told us to rearrange the tan^-1(3x/2), but they pointed us towards the right direction so it was doable. The following differential equation was not the simplest one ever but at least it did not involve double parts like that C3.

I expect very average gb

Agreed - it was a paper on par with last years, maybe slightly lower but I wouldn't expect much more than that. I haven't done FP2 and the last question was perfectly fine

Did anyone do the vestors?
I got (0, -5/3, -5/3) and (4, ?, ?)
Can't remember the 4 one

I think I got (0, 10/3, -5/3) and (4, -10/3, 1/3)

What do you think 63/64 marks would be UMS wise?

If you go off of those boundaries they're similar to Jun13 so about 93/94 ums

I personally would think the boundaries would be a tad higher, only by about 1 or two marks though.
Either way you'd probably still have an A/A*
Range for the validity of x on question 1?

and -69/2 + 9/2ln3?

Mod X < 0.5?

No it is 331 days because at exactly 330 days, the half life hasn't yet been achieved so you have to do it to the next day :-)

It said to the nearest day in the question !

and -69/2 + 9/2ln3?

Yep
I am totally destroyed by C4. goodbye uni

Aye I suppose that's true. I sat last year's paper and this year's was harder in my opinion personally.

I thought this years was harder too
