100 UMS - 66
A* - 61
A - 55
B - 49
C - 43

I think my estimate might be a bit low for the 100 UMS mark but 66/67 would probably be 100, if not close to it.

I think you're probably being optimistic. C4 last year was just as hard (if not harder) and 100 UMS was 69

The questions was to differentiate tan^-1 (3x/2) by implicit differentiation, I didnt do it that way but if you look in the formula book it gives you the general form of differentiating inverse tan which is 1/(1+x^2). Putting in 3x/2 for our x value would give us 1/(1+9/4x^2) so times the whole thing by 4/4 would give you 4/(4 + 9x^2) thats what I did :/
did anyone for question 3b) get -57/2 + 9/2ln3
for the angles one did anyone get 99.6 and 260.4?
Cos theta was 23/35

I did that exactly so I got k as 4, I then went on and didn't even use by parts for the next bit, but still got C and pi. Think I'd get about 2/3 marks for the whole thing and need 96 UMS for my uni, oh well

I agree, c4 was easier this year to be quite honest
