Was anyone able to do question 3 on the multiple choice? And the formula question on the section B momentum?

Is it ok if you only filled the pink sheet for the multiple choice? And not the actual booklet

Thats what you're supposed to fill in!

So Will they not mark it from the pink sheet if I haven't circled the ones in the booklet

Yes they mark the pink sheet

if people want to do a model answers/unofficial markscheme, i'm going to try and store my answers to the multiple choice in my calculator, ie a=1, b=2 etc., if others do the same we can build up a good idea of whats right or wrong, instead of trying to remember a 25 letter string

Really nice paper. Only struggled with the 4 mark momentum derivation question

Also if I scribbled out an option in the pink sheet and picked another one will they mark it or give 0
what did people get for the momentum of the alpha particle?

They should still mark it. As long as it's clear which one you chose in the end

I think 1.15 x 10^-19
for finding the time constant in question 1 did people get 201 seconds
Paper was pretty standard, six marker was nice comparmed with past papers,
Question one calculations i got
8.3mF
3.7×10^-5 j
36s
77000ohms

Then 6.06×10^6 for venus radius??

216 nuleons
V=mv/N
Limitation small angle approximation?

think I got that, I remember writing x10^-19 so probably right

The Multiple choice was tricky. Other than that it was a standard paper

Agreed
image.jpgI just did this and got it right but I did it wrong in the exam....I got (N+m)k for that step not sure how many marks I will get 😥

got this but I got RC=28s? 45/-ln(0.2)
Thought that was an alright paper - damn I couldnt prove the mometum question lol. I loved the 6 marker tho
I got 200s for time constant?

That was ok - some easy parts and some harder parts. I suspect grade boundaries will be normalish (62/75ish for 120 UMS).

No it was not that. You had to use ln0.2 not ln0.8
