Again not that easy. Bosh, Wade and James never played together it was completely new. They were effectively starting afresh. All Durant if he goes would be adding a piece to an already stacked deck. Its no where near the same and many people will agree with that. If he does he's gonna get **** for it and rightly so.

He'll get crap for it sure, once again exactly the same as when Lebron joined.

And whilst new, no one doubted it was immediately a championship caliber team once the Big 3 signed. In fact, you can look this up, they were the favourites to win the league (1.6 to 1 were the odds). There's no difference between joining the best team to chase a title, or assembling a super team to win a title.

The reality is the decision to do such a thing will prove unpopular to everyone except the team who receives the player. But to say it's different isn't looking at it objectively.

The difference is KD won't have to same impact. Unless they 3 peat because of him and he takes FMVP home what could the WC champions possibly NEED him for? LeBron was the driver for his team. Unless KD takes over and their system becomes built around him and they somehow forge a dynasty because of that he's just riding the Stephwagon.

What would they need him for? Rim protection and finishing, and his defensive capabilities for one, given how exposed both aspects of that were once we realised Iggy and Bogut were injured and our bench bigs such as Ezeli and Verejao aren't very good defenders (KD is definitely an improvement on both). With our more defensive minded players like Iggy and Bogut also ageing, bringing in KD who has age on his side makes sense. It also ties in with the very real possibility that Ezeli and Barnes are the two most likely to leave this summer, opening up holes in our team to fill (offensively and defensively). Finally, we saw how in the Finals relying on perimeter offense, when it came up against physical defense, struggled badly. KD is a fantastic finisher in the paint so would be a nice addition to smooth out the offense further.

And with all due respect, you, nor do I or anyone, have any idea what sort of impact KD will have. I'd like to think something we all agree on is any roster with KD is an improved one.

Receptions been quite good. I've been requested to do Nowitzki in a warriors jersey in return for shout outs by a few Warriors pages already so watch out for that one!

Thank you my man

I suspect the Dirk requests are in response to Dirk being linked to the Warriors. I believe he's opting out of his contract but there's no way he's leaving the Mavs so in all likelihood he's 99% resigning with them.

How much cap space does a team have annually? I've never really looked at it closely but I was always aware of differences after the DRose rule came into effect
Dirk Jersey swap incoming soon And yes I am trolling @MrDystopia with the watermark :colonhash:

Bucks did really well last year to stay competitive vs the Bulls. Shame they fell off this year. Nice team though! You've got a great coach and all time PG in Kidd
Finished, kind of messed up choosing this pose but I really love Dirks expression so still pleased.

Lol. Dirk's too old and slow to keep up with small ball.

He'd be a good guy to come off the bench, the best I think. Whether Durant (makes the mistake) ends up at GS or not.
Derrick Rose has just been traded to NYK. F*** the Bulls front office.
