What did people get for the MCQ about amphoteric behaviour? Is it Zn(OH)2 beacuse thats the only one that can redissolve thus losing more protons?

Also what did people put as the catalyst for 2Ce4+ + Tl+ = 2Ce3+ = Tl3+

Yes and Fe2+ catalyst

I got 6 isomers for the MCQ about the di nitro methyl benzene

same

second reaction gave you a negative Ecell though??
Did people get the polychromic glasses question?

Yes and Fe2+ catalyst

do you mean fe 3+ , ii dont think fe 2+ was an option was it?

I didn't even know there was a second reaction though I only wrote about the +0.46 one

I think they gave a clue with the disproportionation stuff

Yes sorry! Fe3+

Oh yh lmao , remember seeing that last night in the george fcer textbook

cucl + agcl = cucl2 and Ag
Solid silver is formed so the glasses darken

Ah ok. But it wasn't a disproportionation for the previous question, was it?
There were 3 steps in the sythesis of benzamide right? Oxidation by K2Cr2O7, then PCl5, then Ammonia to form the amide?

Energy from photons oxidises Cu+ to Cu2+, electron released reduces Ag+ to Ag solid, Ag solid causes sunglasses to darken
Original post by Franckenstar
Yeah they have to be seprerated from the chiral stuff

I just said that racemic mixture could be formed with other optical isomer which could have harmful effects. To solve this find a process which is stereospecific.

No just the definition. For the polychromic I talked about the formation of Ag solid

yep did the same thing
Original post by GrandMasti
Fe3+

It was Zn(OH)2 wasn't it? That's amphoteric

did anyone speak about chiral auxillaries to direct groups in specific positions?
