Pre-employment checks passed!! Just to wait now for the vacancy holder to arrange a start date! Never thought I'd see this in my lifetime. Lol.

Lol!!! I totally know what you're going through, these past 6 weeks of waiting have been difficult. I had almost given up hope for today having already checked CS Jobs like 65 times, lol......then I thought I'd have one last look before leaving work. There it was - pre-employment checks passed! I immediately felt like a weight had been lifted and I was so happy I almost ran to the train station on my way home!

Hang in there mate, it won't be long now!!

Do u know what the exact interview questions are
Sorry to be blunt alisum, but that's a really inappropriate thing to ask. Everyone here who is awaiting their formal offers has got through on their own merits, not by having a heads up on the interview questions.

And there's nothing to say the questions wouldn't be different for this round of interviews.

Read the competency framework and do your homework.

Thanks Doll Parts! Yeah I'm looking forward to finding out which department I'm going to now. I think I would really enjoy Hidden Economy although I'm happy to go anywhere to be honest.

Keep us posted on your progress as well. I have a sneaky feeling that this is the week the pre employment checks will be completed for all candidates!

Lol!! It does sound like it would be a really interesting department to be a part of! I've heard that HE involves loads of visits, investigative work etc. Definitely something I would enjoy!!

Does anyone have a contact number for Shared Services? I've been trying to contact them on 03000 539117 for days without getting through. Communication has been so bad throughout this whole recruitment!

Ive had my DBS certificate in the post today. Does anyone know if I need to do anything with it? Or does a copy automatically get sent to HMRC by DBS?

I've emailed them about this, as it's usually the case that you provide the certificate to the employer (as DBS is now applicant-centric) but it didn't mention this in the provisional offer. Obviously, I haven't had a reply from HMRC though!

If I get a reply I'll let you know.

OK thanks. Ive since emailed them about it as well. Ill let you know if I hear...
You only need to pass it to HMRC if there are convictions on it. If there are none you don't need to do anything.
