Which exam board do you do ?

Edexcel and I'm really nervous that's why am double checking everything 😭
Also I covered the whole course but I still get questions wrong and I think it's the wording
Original post by Amnotsure
Yh but quicker to analyse or easy to analyse want there so......

If you do Edexcel then it says
quicker - to collect data
Cheaper
People can give a more considered response
Original post by stoyfan
It isn't but it should be a reference point to where the pattern of the bell shape should end and start (flatten out). My teacher said that they would be precisely seeing if your graph is correct, but they will see if the graph flattens our at the correct point.

Oh ok so is that for every graph ?!
So what stoyfan are you going to say if advantages of a questionnaire comes up?

Aww... Hope you get an A* in the real one!! Are you doing it tomorrow??

Thanks and yh. :colonhash:

Screenshot the mark scheme and the question. It just has to be multiple choice unless the answer was the only approapiate answer for the question .

FOR EXAMPLE: Jeff is making a survey. He needs to ask lots of people. What advantage of a questionnaire would really help Jeff?

You are able to get large numbers of participants easily

Lol are you trying to go against stoyfan ?!
Can someone please help me on distribution of standard deviation graphs? Like when it's normal and percentages and things? And also when to use each formula and it's just all so confusing, and how it overlaps with the mean? :frown: Would be much appreciated x

It's easier than aqa which is good 😊

The question is :
State one advantage and one disadvantage of using a questionnaire rather than a face to face interview.

Adv - Cheaper
Disadvantage - Questions cannot be explained if they are not understood

The disadvantages are easy it's just the advantages also do you know an advantage of systematic sampling

Advantage systematic sampling :
Easy to compare and understand - that's what it says on the internet

Normal distribution is a bell shape line. Below that it is like the population.

68% of population is covered by SD 1/-1
95% is covered by SD 2/-2
99% is covered by SD 3/-3

Mean is the peak of the bell.

You are a hero! Is that all I need to know about S.D?
I really need to go because I am spending too much time on this website than actual revision.

Best of luck for everyone who is taking the test.
