good paper, praying for 100ums 👐

Do you remember any answers you have put down?
Do u remember what your line of intersection between the two planes was???
I got something like r-(a weird set of co-ordinates that satisfied the two cartesian equations) * (11, -1, 8)

not really, is there a specific question you want? i could probably remember what I did for it

Do you remember the cartesian equation for the plane?
Was it (some x + some y + some z) = 8?

yess got the same, yh the set of coordinates are all depends on what you considered as lambda, i considered z, but the direction is the important part
Good luck people, remember sitting this beast last year. Btw I wouldn't write down the answers just yet as some people might've sat S2 first

What did you get for the eigenvalue? 9?
And what did you get for the y-coordinate of Q?

anybody have the ans?

7x+5y-9z=8 i think

I sat it last year  hope it went well

What was the position vector for you guys?
Original post by Anon-
yeah i got (1, -1/11, 8/11) for direction vector i'm pretty sure 👍

you considered x as lambda i think thats why, but that seems right, dont forget line of intersections have many alternative answers

Yes you brilliant man, yes!
I put x = 1 and got some really unsavoury co-ordinates.
For the y coordinate question I got like 25/3-32/15 root 2

argh people have s2 clashes, i'm gonna edit all my previous posts, i suggest you do the same

Major-fury, thou art correct!

yes lambda=9 for me too, and Q y-coordinate i think was (128/15)-(32/15)root2

Only real issue is for me is probably some accuracy marks dropped on the vector question. Nice Reduction proof though. What do you reckon for 100 ums lads?
