Spat on for voting Leave.

Since my mum works in Richmond (London), a majority Remain area, she didn't want to be found out. Well word got around that she voted Leave and one of her female colleagues spat and shouted at her today. She's come back home for a day off.

Of course there'll be an investigation, but it really is disgusting.

Can't people just accept the vote and move on?

That's disgusting and inexcusable. Everyone was entitled to vote for what they wanted, and shouldn't recieve abuse because another person disagrees with their choice.

It is horrible what they did to your mother, but I don't understand why she should go around telling people.

It is meant to be a private vote. It is supposed to be known only by her and the US Government.

If she did open her mouth, then my advice is for her to close it. Tensions are high now, so everyone needs to be calm.
