The Most Racist Region of the UK?

Been following the 2nd EU Ref and it seems the area which doesn't want the second Referendum to go ahead is the East Midlands due to the lowest amount of signatures.

Mainly the Labour heartlands & Lincolnshire.

Then if you take a look at the EU referendum election results you will see the East Midlands being the biggest region that voted Leave.

However YouGov seem's to think Cumbria & Peterborough are the most racist areas in the UK.

I personally think Lincolnshire is the most Racist area in the UK. Full of Farmers & country types.

Personally, I find that London is extremely racist, from universities and even in the street I have been shouted at and hindered for my race. I am of course white, and since this referendum, the number of people threatening to kill "old white scum" has been insane, scary stuff indeed.

Ahhh but you see they aren't conforming to the elite! They should not be supporting the racist ideology that is democracy, how dare they.

I'm from North Lincolnshire (Scunthorpe) and I agree with you. People will openly have conversations on the bus which are blatantly racist. Just recently someone asked where they got their gollywog keyring because they adored them. During the conversation she literally said, "I don't see why people don't like them, I mean it's our country, they can p*** of back to Africa if it bothers them" and pretty much everyone on the bus agreed.

I couldn't be bothered to explain why it's a racist caricature to these people, half my family (the nasty, ill-educated half) voted leave because they wanted rid of immigrants. This isn't in a rural area either it's a moderately sized industrial town.

I've heard Scotland is very racist but most of them voted Remain. However I don't think racism has as much to do with the campaign as Remain is insisting anyway, difference between preventing immigration and being racist :rolleyes:

You could say that but, a person who isn't racist and is educated enough on the matter wouldn't vote leave on basis of immigration. You only really see the people who say "immigrants steal our jobs" "the country is full" who voted leave in order for immigrantion to be prevented :wink:

The reasoning behind this is: Currently, in the EU, it matters where an immigrant comes from, not their actual qualities.

I think that's indirectly being racist to countries which are outside the UK, like India, Pakistan and so forth.

I think that we should have a fairer system, which does not continue to distinguish about where you come from, but the qualities you have.

For example, if you are a doctor from India, great! we need you, but currently you will have a harder time getting in because those from the EU can come in freely.

So, I supported leave because the EU's immigration policy is indirectly racist, and I want to change that.

How is immigration going to stop. Arranged marriages in the UK have increase, especially those from derived south-asian cultures, so the number of people coming into the UK (in or out EU won't stop)
