Consent is mutual and if you really understood it, you'd realise it's an illusion of control because the sub is the one who outlines their comfort levels. It is, and there is too much of it in the BDSM community. It would help if its current online hub wasn't so keen on suppressing discussion about it.

I think it's a long uphill battle. The abuse of others (particularly women) is part and parcel of mainstream porn now. It really wasn't that long ago that deep throat choking was way out there in the fetish/dark corners of the porn net. Now it is everywhere.
