Can bad handwriting make me fail my exams?

I competed my A2 exams in Politics, Applied business and English literature. These are all exams that require long essay writing. Whilst I will
Say that my handwriting was bad, it is not illegible but would cause an examiner to have to put more effort into reading. Though, surely the examiner will have seen countless examples of bad handwriting over the years? I need ABB to get into my course and have. Been predicted so. I got ACD in my AS levels but have repeated the C and the D and feel
I have definitely gone up as last year I was distracted by a girl and didn't put much effort into my studies. Should I be worried? I hear that have handwriting specialists who they must refer the paper to if my script was too hard to read? I sat CCEA and AQA exam board papers. Thanks!

As long as your handwriting is legible then it'll be fine; examiners are very experienced at reading rushed essays
You should be fine, examiners understand the pressure of timed exams and adapt accordingly.

I know this is late, but I crossed out quite a lot and used asterixes to show I wanted a paragraph there, but wrote my paragraphs on a different booklet, as I was told to. Will this affect my grade as I am very worried thanks
if your teachers didn't say anything there's no problem. wouldn't they have laptops for you if you can't write well anyway?
