UKCAT 2017- scores and resources - NO DISCUSSION

Hey guys,

Testing has begun. I thought I would set up a thread designed to help people gauge general performance this year. It's hard to tell what the average will be, especially as DA no longer counts towards the average.

So post your scores and the resources you used like this

Please use the main thread for discussion, so that it's easy for people to see scores in this one.

Good luck!

Resources: Kaplan online, medify, ISC 1000; about an hour a day for a month. More on weekends. Missed some weekdays due to work - kinda why I decided to just go for it. Didn't want to lose momentum.

Medify when I had the chance. Some days an hour or two, other days nothing. Had a months subscription. Incidentally, I got 615 last year.

Resources used: Medify and ISC 1000 Qs book, but mostly just for the tips and techniques, the questions were too hard to use in my opinion, but were good for on the go.

I actually only did Medify mock 2 and the Medify QR mini mock (in terms of mocks, i did loads of questions otherwise), but i think i may have got lucky on the questions.

Good luck to everyone else doing it, and remember, TSR is not exactly the most representative resource :h:

Resources used: Medify (1 month - actually used for 2 weeks though :colondollar:) & 600Q. I wouldn't recommend the latter as the questions are more complex.
VR: 610 (found VR so tough in the actual exam despite it being my best in practice!)

Resources used: Kaplan Self Study Pack about 2 weeks before, an hour a day and then for the last three days before the exam, I spent maybe 4 hours a day

Resources used: mock tests on the website. I only did the first paper plus the ones that focused on each section. I prepared 1 day before my paper hahaha.

I would recommend not taking the decision making part seriously since its not marked. I used that time to rest my brain!!
