Saying"white lives matter" to counter "black lives matter" is ridiculous..

The reason for black lives matter is because evidentially the general thinking is that they dont.. White people do not need to start saying white lives matter as clearly they seem to matter the most.. Black lives matter movement is basically saying "our lives matter just as much as yours..." So stop being an idiot, history proves white lives have been priority since day 0. But yeah go ahead and try to continue to oppress people and try to act like they are being unreasonable for speaking out, typical

Well I say all lives matter equally.

If black lives matter can organise a load of street marches surely they can organise some community groups to sort our their own neighbourhoods in an attempt to fix crime and generally improve life conditions. But they don't. The entire movement is just people rioting for the sake of it and none of them have made any effort to actually make a difference.

Most people killed by the police in America are White and most Black people killed in America, are killed by other Black people.

Well considering hundreds of black people dies in Sudan, and I can't find what blm had to say about that - I am increasingly struggling to believe they care about black lives.

Maybe #blackAmericanlivesmatter?
White people - for once this isn't about you.

Stop trying to discredit the injustice Black people face on a daily basis by the brutal police force in America, who are far too aggressive and quick to shoot.

PREACH!
:adore::clap2::bumps:
Although I do strongly believe in equality and the BLM movement (several members) have been known to counter racism with racism - or so I've heard, which is just as despicable and is very counterproductive. But for those to come out and say that black people (or ethnic minorities) aren't suffering - ugh. They mention high crime rates but won't go into why it is that black individuals are the ones committing the most crime within America (POVERTY - which is a result of the racism that has prevailed throughout the centuries. It's stopped many individuals from getting jobs and providing for their family. This, combined with the mistreatment that has been going on for many decades, has caused a lot of anger and hatred. It has also created a violent community. Although, in saying this I do acknowledge that these African American individuals must still held accountable for their criminal actions etc.) However, pointing fingers and happily ignoring the causes for such terribly high crime rates does nothing. It's the equivalent to burying one's head in the sand.

What does this prove exactly?

It's a way of empowering, in all honesty its similar to the feminist movement.

Really it has to happen from the top though rather than just the bottom, the bottom will do as many protests as they want but the top will just get an army and riot police, people will stop eventually, they eventually will need to pay the bills and will go back to their crappy paying jobs and stop protesting against the issues that affect them so much. You could possibly affect the country by trashing the place with riots but did that do **** to the UK when Mark Duggan got killed? Did the UK improve race relations from that point onward or did they literally stop the riots and went back to normal as you can see by the verdict?

Really you'd have to get people from the top to actually make decisions(like ones that stopped discrimination in the workplace and had quotas for ethnic minorities) and keep it up. The people at the top don't understand the people from the bottom. Not many of them lived the lives of the people from the bottom.

More whites have been killed by cops then blacks have. Why dont the white people get the credit

Black people are being shot down like animals without any solid basis that they are a threat.

Alton sterling was selling CDs.

He had a gun but the second amendment says you have a right to bear arms. He was not using it in a threatening manner at all.

He had 6 bullets shot in his back.

There are countless who came before him who have been brutally murdered by the police.

This needs to stop.

1. White people have as much right to shout White lives matter if their people are being killed in even greater numbers by police.

2. BLM doesn't really care about Black people or else it's foremost goal would be to end Black-On-Black violence in the ghetto, create a wealthy Black economy and generally improve relations between Black men and Black women rather than focusing on an outside enemy which largely doesn't exist.

How about us white folk start being thankful that we don't need a movement?

I'm grateful to live in a country where traffic police don't carry guns, where there is no second amendment right to bear arms, where mass shootings are a rareity, not a daily norm. That being said, I'd be absolutely stupid to believe that racial profiling doesn't happen. Of course it does, and not just to black people.

#blacklivesmatter is important. When can you recall a white person in American being killed for selling CDs or cigarettes, or reaching to provide his ID like he was asked to do, or for moving lanes without signalling, or for having a broken taillight?

Try saying "they should comply with police" or "they shouldn't resist arrest". Did you see Philando Castille? Did you see how Eric Garner said 11 times that he could not breathe? Did you see that Freddie Gray's legs were broken as they dragged him to the van? Did you see how police had restraint of Alton Sterling's arms and hands? Did you see the way that Sandra Bland was physically pulled from her car?

Lol it works both ways, just nobody makes a big deal out of it when it happens to whites:

#AffirmativeAction needs to stop. That is actual legally binding discrimination. For the BLM thing - I would just lower policing standards (e.g. you shouldn't need a clean criminal record to become a cop) and just have an all black police force in black areas - LOL.

95% of people killed by the police are male, yet men form just under half the American population, does this indicate that American police are sexist?

EDIT: The other argument you could make is that there is nothing wrong with movements protesting against police violence towards Black people as well as police violence towards White people. Across the world difference police forces have different strategies, French police for example being more aggressive and brutal than British police for example, American police being more violent still.

There is every reason why people might wish to change police doctrine from use of violence, to de-escalation techniques.

1. Then why don't they? When police brutalise white people why don't you go on the streets and demand justice? Why do people shrug it off and expect black people to do the same when it happens to them? There is no law banning white people from protesting police brutality. And white people make up 62% of America's population so it makes sense that they are killed more.

2. Except the enemy of racism does exist. BLM might not be going about it in the best way but black people still have a right to protest racism.
And the onus is on the government of America and black people in positions of power to alleviate black poverty.
