I have had several relationships and have to agree with you OP on your point
five were very social and public and were excluding one of them, basic behind closed doors
but the two shy quiet girls I was in relationships with were way more open minded than I was at the time, one left me over the matter and the other left the country to visit family and I haven't heard from her since

yep here's a list of places she wanted to do it
her house
my house
her sister's flat
her sister's car
the above were all ok and were used but then came the next few and you see when wrong
school bathroom (we were both 16 before anyone asks)
public park
leisure centre changing room
