No more or less than any other year.
Depending on how you're affected, I think that it certainly a year for France and Juba, South Sudan to forget.

This is by far one of the most interesting years I can remember in my lifetime.
We would have to forget about the deaths of Prince and David Bowie no thanks

It depends on if the effects of 2016 escalate into 2017 and then 2017 outshines 2016 by being more... potent shall we say lol
Every year is bad for various countries across the world - it makes no difference if countries like France are amongst them, so either every year is a year to forget, or every year is year to remember.
