Wouldn't watch that myself.
There has been a bomb attack on parliement. Coup military opened fire on crowd in Ankara.
'I support Turkish democracy. I don't support Erdogan.'
I think there is earlier footage of the helicopter.
Scary stuff
It's amazing how we can watch world events like this unfolding live through someone's phone camera through stuff like Periscope and Facebook Live.

Yeah, Aljazera says a grenade.
Was it a grenade attack or actual bomb attack?

Hand grenade
Well well well 2016 seems to be going down the drain.

Anybody saying the coup is over, you seem to be wrong since there has just been 9 airstrikes.

What are the context of these strikes?
By who?
Against who?
When?
Source?
How are people watching this?

I'm on the BBC News Channel, but I don't know if they seem to be slow. Someone above me just said that there have been 9 airstrikes but BBC haven't mentioned that.

Twitter/AlJazeera Arabic/Sky seem to be quickest

BBC is always a snail when it comes to live reporting

It seems a case of when and not if the coup dribbles out.
Turkish Parliament has been bombed

BBC seems to want to check it's facts rather than reporting stuff that may not be true.

From last night, many media outlets were reporting a hostage situation, but the BBC was one of the few I saw that didn't.
