Some people just don't want it to be a big thing. Since they don't enjoy it they feel left out that everyone else is doing it.

Exactly.

I love this response "Once again, come back when you've got something worthwhile to argue". So overused, so dumb, yet so hilarious.

I do find it saddening that it took a ****ing game to get people outside and socialising, but hey it's their choice.

Society is really in a sad state.

I understand your point of view. But unless your meeting up with friends or going to the shops, how often will you go out for a couple of hours. Not much. This is giving people something to do while you go out. Lets say your taking your dog out for a walk, if you want to go out for 2 hours you will be quite bored but now with this app you won't be as bored. Also theres many people with anxiety who this game has helped.

Although not sad but quite amusing what this game has done which other people have tried for years to do. I find it pretty amazing tbh. I don't know why people are hating on it. Probably because of its popularity. But I love this game.

Unfortunately for you I don't need a virtual game or a screen to be happen, sorry to burst your bubble :frown:!

There's more to life than playing with virtual creatures. Hope this doesn't shock you!

Do you realise that how incensed you are getting over this virtual game is at least as pathetic if not more so than people who need a virtual game to get them to go outside?

1) You've insulted me in your replies. You are equally as bad regardless of the pokeball you clearly have had shoved up your rectum.

I called you a dumbass once, as opposed to your multitude of comments which originated from your first reply to me, showing that you've had no line of argument all along. But nice kl story.

[QUOTE]2) Ah so you're not happy with progress. You won't be happy if there isn't progress. So either way, all those people staring at the screens are probably going to be happier than you will ever be. Now I get ya.[/QUOTE[

Oh I can assure you I am very happy and I don't need a screen to achieve happiness  I am not proud of progress when it requires virtual gaming to do something that was completely possible before if people got off their ass lmao

3) So everyone should spend there whole life outside? Even if they don't want to be there? Great, we can have more miserable people complaining in the streets.

Wow it's almost as if I didn't say that and you over-dramatised my sentiments. Oh wait...

The world isn't nice, unless you haven't noticed. Slightly unrelated but I heard someone say that they don't want children any more because the world has become too ****ed up.

How is this relevant? I've never said once in this thread that the world is inherently 'nice'.

In this day and age, who are you to tell people how they should have fun? Who are you to judge anyone on the 'beauty' the find in the outside world? Why aren't you living out in the wilderness somewhere with no technology enjoying the world? Oh right, you can't, because you are another brainwashed robot who relies on technology for happiness. I don't care if you do. Nobody does. Which is why you shouldn't find offence who would rather be happy in technology that being outside with you. Sorry but you come across as a pretentious **** and yes that is an assumption but you aren't helping yourself at all.

Lmao thanks for agreeing it's an assumption;

1) I am a person capable of making judgement, thus, I shall judge.
2) I haven't told people how to have fun, merely that it's stupid that you require a virtual world to have fun.
3) Give me the money and I'll happily move to the wilderness. What a massive extreme example you've given once again.
4) I don't rely on technology for happiness, I find myself much happier when I am outside and distance from the internet and as such but okay you've already admitted you're assuming.
5) Once again here's another insult
Sorry, was just about to reply and then...

Look. All video games are pointless. All sports are pointless. TV is pointless. Stamp collecting is pointless. All of these are pointless.

But if people enjoy it - is it really pointless? It gets people out of the house. They meet new friends. People interact and have fun. It's something to do.

Why are all crazes inherently bad? I might say sports is pointless but many people would tell me otherwise.

Just stop hating it. If you don't like it, turn away. Don't spoil people's fun.

That is indeed very unfortunate for me my bubble has been well and truly burst.
Ofc there is more to life then pokemon. Why play that when you can rage at people on TSR?

Thank you for being the first person to respond civilly to my posts

I agree with you in part, that it is something for you to do in addition whilst you're outside and if you do find yourself outside it can help boredom. My main issue is with those who use it as their only outlet for actually getting themselves to go outside. The thing about anxiety I also have no problem with, as I'm criticising those who are lazy as opposed to those who have anxiety.

I'm glad you enjoy it. You can have your opinion and I can have mine

I do agree, why are you lot raging at me? Very strange.

I'd like to direct you to the fact that /you lot/ started criticising my post first and thus you're the ones who took offence and got into a strop. Not myself

1) It's not stupid, it's their idea of fun. It may be stupid to you but it isn't to them.
2) You don't need money to live the all natural life in the wilderness. Who are you going to be doing business with? The squirrels?
3) You are on TSR. You have electricity, probably a car etc. You need technology to be happy. Otherwise you wouldn't be using it.
4) You insult me, I insult you. Doesn't matter who insults who first or more.

Also, I just noticed, you're in the Welcome Squad. Why on earth would you do it/which deluded individual gave you the role??
Gotta catch'em all bro

Oh you are quite clearly taking offence.

Then again, you have a point. We shouldn't be all up in arms. It is a forum and we are here to debate.

There is a difference between criticism and raging. Putting a smiley face at the end of your sentences does not mask the fury behind these ridiculous responses.

Omg literally the perfect response.

1) ONCE AGAIN, not even criticising the fun aspect, criticising the people using it as their main outlet to go outside fml.
2) Well I don't think I'll exactly have enough food supplies to start off with as soon as I get there, so I'd need money to buy food stuff beforehand...as one example... or don't you understand that fruit/veg take time to grow? I mean if you're one of these people who's only gone outside on account of Pokemon Go then that could be news with you. Once again I'm going to stress how extreme an example this is and how much you're missing the point.
3) "to live comfortably" and "to be happy" are not synonyms
4) I've insulted you once after you insulted me several times and you have continuously insulted me, so yes it does matter, as it shows how much of your 'argument' is just based on petty attacks

Also, I just noticed, you're in the Welcome Squad. Why on earth would you do it/which deluded individual gave you the role??

Omg look again with the petty insults sweetheart. Seriously come back when you got something to actually argue for, because right now all I'm seeing is ~nonsense, nonsense, nonsense ~addresses half a sentence~ ~nonsense insult~ from your posts.

I was unaware that having a debate (well trying to, considering your side seem to be just whining most of the time about how unfair my viewpoint is without actually defeating it) is taking offence. Interesting!

Chucking petty insults and shady comments is not criticism, you do realise that?

People now have an excuse to go outside and get some exercise ; can't help but think this game is pretty positive

1) How about this, get a book on what is and isn't edible seasonally and learn how to hunt.
As for your petty insults referring to me only going outside to play Pokemon Go, I don't play Pokemon Go because my phone is too old. I spend plenty of time outside playing sports.
2) No they are not. But you are happy with technology because it's how you were brought up.
3) As is yours, sweetie.
4) It's not an insult. I'm genuinely curious. Why would you choose to do it when you are clearly not welcoming?

Also, my attacks may be petty, but your replies are just as petty. This is a perfect example: "Seriously come back when you got something to actually argue for, because right now all I'm seeing is ~nonsense, nonsense, nonsense ~addresses half a sentence~ ~nonsense insult~ from your posts. "
