Which subject to take in A levels: Computer Science or ICT?

Which will be more dopey for the universities?

They are both viewed the same way depending on the course you want to apply at uni (it is looked more favourably for science courses). Choose the one you find more interesting.

I'm more biased towards Comp Sci and will honestly recommend it to anyone who likes computers and technology in general... but you should ask yourself whether or not you will like programming, as you'll come across many problems during your coursework that would make you feel like chopping your head off :laugh:
It depends what you're more interested in really. Computer Science focuses on computers themselves and how they work, and involves topics such as programming. ICT on the other hand is more about the uses and applications of computers, such as the Internet, databases, applications in the home/business/medicine etc. Generally Computer Science is considered more difficult and is more respected than ICT. Also, if you're considering a degree in Computer Science, then Computer Science would be better to take than ICT. However, for something like a Business degree, ICT may be more relevant.
