Thread about slippers

i really don't see the point of slippers when you can just wear socks of varying thickness to keep your feet warm, and also they're so horrid looking !

slippers are baeeee
socks = dangerous on tiled floors (aka kitchen)
what you need are summer and winter slippers
Essential properties of winter slippers:
-Fluffiness
-Comfiness
-Snugliness (No that is not the same as comfiness)
-Warmth
-Not slip ons - slip on ones wear out much quicker than ones covering your whole foot
-decent solesEssential properties of summer slippers:
-Comfiness
-Airiness (feet can breathe v easily)
-Grippy sole
-Can be slip ons (bc u need that air mate, u just do lol)
I reccomend flip flops and also

But can't you see those slippers are so ugly like the top ones look like some cheap version of uggs and the bottom ones are just ew
You can buy slipper socks instead of slippers so you don't slip ok floors and these are much more attractive !

Well, plot twist I don't wear socks to bed at all and so I have bare foot meaning I'm very unlikely to slip like your unfortunate aquantice in drama class ... And may I ask ? Are you wearing slippers in this weather. Slippers always made my feet sweaty whatever the weather !

I am a fan of smart shoes, sandals, some boots, and cool trainers but flip flops and slippers are not my thing !
