Have I been ignored? (Message sent not delivered)

I sent a message yesterday to a friend on facebook messenger, thought i was being ignored. Howveer I checked it and it says "sent" rather than delivered -.-. I sent some more but its still just being sent rather than delivered.

He was last active an hour ago so it cant be his phone off
