Your work experience doesn't really have to be relevant to the subject you're doing (unless you are applying to a course such as medicine or dentistry, which requires you to do so), but rather what skills did you display or gained from it that you think is useful and will help you to study Economics at uni (e.g. the ability to quickly process data in a busy environment, quick thinking, analytic skills or even developed communication skills) . I did work experience at school and also volunteered at a food bank, despite stating that I do not want to go into teaching at all and got told how great my PS was my the admissions :tongue:

Work experience isn't really necessary for economics - focus on the theory stuff
