Very happy with that team.

Also due to popular demand H2H league is now up: 30779-190798

Very good.*
This new site looking so **** has definitely helped me put off making my team a little bit longer. Not going to do it till a few days before this year, have spent way too long tinkering it before it even starts the previous few seasons.

3 goals and 5 assists in 45 games last season. What makes you want him in your team?

Didn't realise his goal and assist record was that poor last season lol, think I'm just reminiscing about the 14-15 season when he was on fire for me at West Ham. Will probably change him to Feghouli now.

Fischer seems to be pretty popular. What do you think?

I've heard that Boro played Villa yesterday and he completely ran the show - scored a goal and got an assist
Got Terry and Shaw in atm but really not comfortable with them, could be to much for Shaw to start every match so soon after injury and terry is 35 now lol. Is Baily going to be starting, could get him instead of Shaw.

Yeah, we lost 3-1. I might draft him in - I've not even tinkered yet...

Mourinho doesn't like to switch defenders so I imagine Shaw and Bailly will hardly miss a game.

Terry is tempting, too.*
Shaw's been fine in pre season and we have no other specialist LB apart from CBJ who might be going out on loan, he'll be starting every game. As he'll probably join a PL club he might be one to watch...

I've had Terry in a couple of drafts, but if Chelsea sign Koulibaly you'd think he'll be the one to drop out.

I don't trust any United defenders really, but I'm thinking about sticking DDG in goal since a Mourinho side aren't gonna concede too many regardless.

Toyed with the idea of Terry - on one hand you could say that Conte will be fully aware of the usefulness of experienced defenders if you look at the Italian side he managed. However I can't be sure he's nailed on and Azpi is probably a better shout even with a slightly higher price.

I think in your back 5 you'd do well with a United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs player. Could also have somebody from Middlesborough as a low cost option.

The real issue is managing the cost - there are so many 8-9m midfielders who need to go in but then you also have Aguero and Ibra who surely need to go up front.

What a nightmare this is gonna be.
I'm wanting to rock with Aguero and Ibrahimovic, but it means having a midfield full of mid range players.

I'll probably wildcard after a few games anyway so I don't think starting team is that important.

I must say the design of the new website is ****. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to change the captain, I had to consult their help pages in the end. The extra click to switch players in and out isn't good either. Clearly the site was designed for a mobile, PC users have to suffer. Web development has really gone backwards in the past 5 years or so.

I just made a team with Aguero and Ibra.
Honestly it's a nightmare trying to fill the other 9 spots. I managed to do it with a half decent midfield and a few good defenders though.
If they didn't have such a good fixture list, I'd drop one of them for sure (Ibra most likely).

I absolutely hate the new site design - the only way I can explain it is to say that every action takes more clicks to perform than needed.

Couldn't agree more. So frustrating :unimpressed:
Agree that the UI is ****. I've got a fairly new laptop and can't get the full team to show on the screen

Tempted by Hazard (c) on the first game, playing a makeshift West Ham defence with Antonio at RB...

Everyone said the same last year that there was a lot more value in premium mids than strikers and look how that worked out! With Kun & Ibra you can still get 2 premium (8.5+), two mid priced and a bench fodder which is decent i'd say. Plus if one of them gets injured or starts blanking it's easy to downgrade. I wouldn't want to be having to tear up my team GW2 to bring Aguero or Zlatan in if they had a good debut, for example.
