We had a LOTR marathon at xmas, all the Hobbit and then LOTR in one day/night ...Aragorn all the way!

Agreed that the soundtrack is pretty damn special. Loads of really great, memorable pieces. At the moment, I can't get enough of this one. Not much can compare to 1:45 with the volume up loud!

I absolutely LOVE LOTR! Great music and a great plot with great characters. It's just great and I never get bored of watching it over and over again!

I think the books drag on quite a bit so in this case the movies are much better, the plots also different in some areas
