Is Classical Civilisation A Level a facilitating subject?

I studied Classics at university and I think it definitely helped me get a place. It'd depend on what subject you're planning to take in university (if you want to go to university at all - no assumptions!). I'd say Class. Civ. is relevant if you're applying for History or a literary degree.

As everyone has said it isn't.

However History is if having a facilitiating subject concerns you?

Both complement each other well, especially if you'll be doing Greek Tragedy or any plays in CC as you'll have to learn about the psyche of characters and stuff!

This should help! I would thoroughly recommend Class-civ a level - especially if you like english and history! The workload was significantly less than history and the topics are so diverse. It really depends what you would like to study in the future!
