I'm probably going to Plymouth in September and freshers there involves parties and drinking every night it seems. I enjoy that kind of thing but is it acceptable to miss a few nights as, being an introvert, socialising is kinda exhausting and so I need time to myself afterwards to recharge whereas other people are happy to spend all their time around others. Does anyone understand?
Everything I've read just says to force yourself to go out to every party or you'll make a bad impression from the start so I'm a bit worried. It's just freshers seems kinda intense and I'd really like a balance between socialising and time to myself to settle in.
