The fact that university education is in some form subsidised by the state and many of the students will eventually enter the workforce, people should care. You might not; but a lot do.

Ah so you care that they are providing knowledge. Well sorry to disappoint you, but every time a university makes a choice of what professor to hire, what course to offer, what modules to offer, it makes a choice of what message it wants to send out. The same is true in this case.

Coming from you, I find this somewhat amusing.
Milo is a complete idiot for the following reasons:

1.

He thinks his homosexuality can be used to excuse his blatant racism and sexism.

2.

He aligns himself with the alt-right, yet does not realise that the alt-right is predominantly a white supremacist movement: racist, sexist, homophobic, antisemitic.

3.

Thus, outside Milo's little dreamy bubble, the AR do not accept him because of his homosexuality and claimed Jewish ancestry (they go by the one drop rule).

He thinks he is part of the alt-right, but seems to be your average neoreactionary idiot who thinks that his ideology is superior.
I agree with him on some things, and if you haven't heard him on The Joe Rogan podcast then I'd recommend it. It's a good episode and they have some very interesting conversations.
However, he admits to being a Catholic and being quite adamant in his religious beliefs. I'm not sure how he can follow a denomination that dislikes him so much because he's homosexual.

I find the obsession with him rather strange. I don't see him as a exist or racist or bigoted, I just see him as a run of the mill attention seeking troll.

He makes some decent points but is wildly insignificant with many others. Fairly indifferent towards him.

The alt right is none of these. I have never heard Stefan Molyneux or Milennial Woes express ideas like this. Regardless, Milo is a traditional conservative anyway.

I've met him, and discussed this stuff with him over the course of several hours.

He's a public figure and he's judged for the statements he makes in public. Nobody cares if in private he's St Chrysostom.
