^I'm kinda annoyed about that, as it was only mechanics that let me down.
Subject: OCR Physics A /Predicted B / Achieved C (4 out of 22 of us in the class even passed, as it was new Spec)
Subject: Business Studies Predicted B / Achieved B

Comments and reactions:
I was relieved to get the B in Business and C in Physics, as I had some pretty bad personal news on the day of those exams. Also, I was only 3 marks off an A in Business

Future ambitions:
Study Mathematics and also do a masters in it.

Is it safe to say we are on the same boat?

I got:
Maths - A
Further Maths - A
Music Technology - C (Appealing coursework as it went from an A to a D but I somehow got a B in the exam I thought I totally failed!!)

I wasn't entered in for Chemistry this year.

Maths: Predicted B / Achieved B

Physics: Predicted A / Achieved D

English: Predicted A / Achieved A

Comments and reactions
Lol. Physics was a cock-up and a half. But it's the reformed Physics so I don't have to take notice of this grade! I sit the same exams next year in Physics so I'm all good. Maths and English have pleased me immensely and I hope that now I can go on to achieve AAAaa with the As in Comp Sci, Maths, and Physics, and the as in Further Maths and English (I already have one of those two as!)

Future ambitions
Oxford University. I'm yet to do my Computer Science A2 exam as that's a 2-year thing. Maths at Oxford. Failing that, Loughborough, York, Exeter, or (Heaven forbid) Lincoln. Later then to work at my current company, Software Europe, continuing to be their developer.
I totally agree.

I have been predicted A's through out the year but for some reason after exams I pretty much convinced myself I had done awfully, thankfully not-so relieved!

Future Ambitions:
Medicine with a foundation year or a history and politics degree (still not 100% certain which direction to take, need to decide ASAP!)
Results:

-Business (predicted=A, achieved=A)
-D&T (predicted=A, achieved A)
-English Lit (predicted=A, achieved=B)
-Chemistry (predicted=B, achieved=E 😂)

Comments and Reactions:
Tbh I'm just really relieved to not have to do Chemistry anymore because it was such a horrible course, just happy to have passed it 😂

Future Ambitions:
Hoping to study product design or industrial design at either Edinburgh or Loughborough 😄

AS Results:
Maths (Edexcel): A
Bio (OCR): A
Chem (OCR): A
Spanish (AQA): A

We didn't really have official predicted grades but I think they were the same??

My Goal:
I plan on applying for Veterinary Medicine at Surrey, RVC, Notts and Cambridge (???? still doubting my capability so we shall see!) For Camb, do we need 95%+ UMS in all of our modules? I hope not!

Comments:
Super surprised. Can't believe I got an A in my Mechanics module, seeing that before exams I got 36% (U) in my mock exam... haha. Worked my butt off for M1 though.
Also speechless that I got full UMS in my Spanish Oral! I literally was about to start speaking English halfway through. I said, "Yeah..." and then stopped myself and, luckily, I don't think he heard! Had some real weird questions as well and poor answers on my part! Haha.

It's weird. I was happy when I got my results for like a minute but afterwards I just felt and still do feel kind of meh. Like I don't really feel anything. Maybe because I don't believe it's real... Plus today was just one of the days when I just was NOT feeling myself, lol.
I couldn't breathe when I got the envelope and I was shaking so bad... Results day is such a weird day.

Congrats to everyone (loads of As I'm seeing here!) and for those who didn't get what they hoped for, remember that these results are not the be all end all, even if it feels that way. Hugs to everyone!

Anyone celebrating? I celebrated by making a red velvet deep dish brownie with red velvet oreos and stuffed my face lol. Yum.

Haha well done, great way to celebrate!!
Maths: A
Chemistry: B
Physics: C
ICT: B (2 UMS off an A 😡😡)

I'm happy with my A in Maths and I know I can easily get at least an A in ICT because year 13 is all coursework. Chemistry I wish was little higher and my school want me to do 3 so I will be dropping Physics.
Does anyone know if the new OCR science exams give any information on how close we are cause mine literally just gave me a grade???

I would like to do Mathematics at university, currently looking at Glasgow University.

Really happy with these results, did better in psychology than health and social ( my strongest subject), but I was 100% sure I was getting a U but obviously surprised myself by getting a C. I have no idea what to drop now! (Eek :O)

Future ambitions
I'm hoping to study Early childhood studies at either Leeds Trinity, Leeds Beckett, Sheffield Hallam, Edge hill or York. St John

Pretty happy but I messed up on FM; FP1 (Edexcel) was unusually tough and I ran out of time on D1. Resitting them both next year.

Biology: Predicted A / Achieved A

Chemistry: Predicted A / Achieved B

Maths: Predicted A / Achieved A

French: Predicted A / Achieved A

Comments and Reactions
Overall, I'm pretty happy with my results, apart from Chemistry. I'm kind of annoyed at myself over it, because it's the lowest grade I've ever got for a qualification. It doesn't help that there aren't any marks on that or Biology (my two linear subjects), so I can't even see how far off from an A I was.

Future Ambitions
I want to be a doctor, possibly specialising in cardiology, and will be applying to Oxford, Imperial, Leicester, and Bristol this year.

You could always try asking your exam officer for your raw marks? That's what I did, they had them all on the computer  I want to do medicine too, undecided on unis yet but Cambridge is the dream xx

Economics: Predicted A / Achieved A

History: Predicted B / Achieved B

English Literature: Predicted B / Achieved C

Comments and reactions
I was quite satisfied with Economics and History, might have to retake Literature.

Future ambitions
Lawyer
Religious Studies - D
Sociology - C
Film Studies - B
English literature- E
EPQ- A

Proper gutted about the religious studies grade but I'm retaking one of the exams next year to get a C.

I would of liked a B in sociology but it doesn't count this year so it's ok.

Film studies I missed an A by 1 mark which is annoying..

English I couldn't honestly care about as I'm dropping it so that's life.
