Sixth Form wont let me continue Art

So im a year 12 currently and got my results a few days ago, and was very suprised
C-Media Studies
C-History
D-Sociology
E-Art
So i wanted to carry on to year 13 with media, sociology and art, but my sixth form is forcing me to drop art and take history instead. Thats where the problem lies, i absolutely f*cking hate A level history with a passion, during the year id get Us Es and Fs in end of term assessment mocks and suddnely got a C in the final thing, and i hate history its so boring and i get depressed over doing work history related bc my mind just gets stuck on what to write and analysis, i have lost many hours of sleep doing hw so i dont get into trouble, i just felt braindead when i did it, the only reason i picked it for AS was bc i got a B at gcse which was one of my higher grades but bow i want desperately drop and and i have to do art bc i want to go to an art/media specialist uni and from what i understand, anything above a U is a pass at AS and they said they required a D? How does that make sense and it would be better to carry on art cos i can change that grade into a much better one and keep history as it is without f*cking up and getting lower than a C. Isnt there anything i can do at this point? the sixth form wont make any judgements until the summer is over and the teachers are back so they can see if "im worth the risk" pls if theres any action i can take please let me know
