Meng or Beng?

To employers would an Meng from a less ranked uni like Exeter (in terms of engineering) be looked at more favourably than a Beng from a higher ranked one like Bath?

Engineering employers aren't interested in your university.

They are interested in you.

And yes an MEng is a higher degree than a BEng, no matter which university awarded it.

Hey,

Just echoing what jneill said. Employers will look at your experiences, classes you've taken and the grades, internships/placements and so on. Someone with a BEng might get a position over someone with an MEng if they have more relevant experience or better grades, not because of where they went to university. It's all dependent.

Yes the MEng would be looked at more favourably although I can't think of a situation where you could do the BEng at a higher ranked institution and not be able to do the MEng at the same university either by admission or by transferring, unless you had poor academic performance.
