Not true. Unless you get a C grade or above in Maths and English, you have to continue re-sitting that exam by law until you achieve that magic C or above in both core subjects. You can still sit A Levels, the institution that you plan to do A Levels in may have entry requirements involving these grades, but it is by no means a blanket rule.

I know u have to resit it, but didnt know u could do ur alevels at the same time!!! I thought u had to pass english first and then start ur alevel...

The difference between english grades are so small (4/5 marks) that i have no idea what am gonna get! :eek: could be an E or a C or a B... Oh my. :facepalm:
