Watching Porn from University Wi-Fi

Hello people,

From September I will be studying at Teesside University.

I am wondering, will I be able to access porn sites from the university's broadband provider or do they block such sites?

Thank you!

Enough GUYS at uni as well!
OP DON'T DO IT!
If you watch the pornz then the Teesside Porn Police will raid your home, take your belongings and charge you for "Viewing da porno".
...

Nah, generally speaking universities don't bother blocking such sites. Too much hassle anyway to try and stop people from watching porn, they usually just say in the uni handbook that watching more extreme porn (I'm assuming to do with children etc) is an offence and will get you kicked out.

virtual private network.

I recommend tunnel bear. free 500 mb a month or small subscription fee for unlimited data and it also has location / IP spoofing!

Well it is not that simple. Let me tell you why! I am excluding myself because I am not a nosy character which judges people, but in general from what I have seen around me during the educational period so far, us the girls can be extremely nosy and judgemental about people. As soon as you say to them "It's none of your business" that is when they will start digging deeper where their nose doesn't belong. With that said, my point is that it is not that simple as sneeking a boy into my room (we are only sharing a kitchen between us 6 girls) it's not like I will remain unnoticed. And here come all of the questions and that is where it is none of their business. I mean c'mon I am not owing them any explanation just because we are sharing a kitchen. I am principally very conservative and closed when it comes to intimate topics and I won't talk about sex with anyone I meet, it just doesn't work like that with me and it won't. There are and always will be only 2 people who I have known from a very young age with which I can comfortably talk about sex but that is pretty much it. Not to mention that rumours can easily erupt and the last thing I want happening is for my intimate and love life to be widely revealed. Another problem I have is that there is only a single door separating the bedroom from the corridor and I wouldn't be suprised if my conversation gets heard and I mean every word of it.
So you are saying that people at Uni are not under age for them to be blocking the porn sites and they wouldn't mind if students do access them, yes?
Well we are adults so I'd personally be shocked if such websites were blocked - but as one OP mentioned, plenty of guys about. Not suggesting anything derogatory, just saying there's a good chance you'll find a nice lad.

I do respect your feelings about not wanting people to know who you like and what you feel (I'm pretty much the same), but seriously, not getting a boyfriend because someone could notice that seems rather extreme! You could always do the other way round and sneak into HIS apartment, or just pretend you're not hearing your roommates' questions, or (and this can get really fun, you could actually enjoy that) just lie and pretend it's a different boyfriend every night when it's not, or the other way round.I mean, there are a ton of good reasons to watch porn, but you shouldn't let your roommates make you lose something, especially if you don't like them that much

No, they don't.
I was gonna say "I am officially screwed" lol
Anyone got any idea if University of Kent Canterbury has any rules against watching porn while on their eduroam?
Porn is bad. Face your books.
I don't use VPN checking PornHub and Fapshows from my college wi-fi, but use it while at home. If your college Internet provider blocks porn sources, I don't think any proxy soft will help you ..
