I just found out that WJEC messed my marks up I did really get an A* in my catering XD 1A*^,6A*,6As and a B

Excuse me but getting 85% in AQA Geography and 89.75% in AQA DT overall doesn't gain me an A* WTF

I got lower than that in aqa geography and got an A* you might want to check your results properly the Grade boundaries suggest you should have an A* unless you are talking about individual components

Well, at least I'm happy to tell the truth. These were the grades I predicted I'd get:

ICT - B
Maths - B
English Language - C
Philosophy/Ethics/RE - C
Computer Science - C/D

Chemistry - E

Some of my actual grades were higher, some were lower. The one I was most suprised about was maths, where I got a C, since all the mocks I've taken since Y10 have been a B. I think the first paper (non-calculator) was extremely difficult - I don't think I got many marks at all in it.

Obviously didn't do as well as I expected I would, but it's not really a huge deal to me - I did well in the exams, It's mostly the coursework which let me down. Re-taking english language is certainly annoying, though.

Future ambitions
To live a reasonably decent life. I don't care where I go or what I do, as long as I'm still here I'll be happy.

Not what I was hoping for, but I'm pretty sure I won't get rejected from Oxbridge because of 1/2 a GCSE grade.

Future ambitions:
Gotta get all A* across the board next year and in the long run get that Economics and Management degree at Oxford.

I'm so disappointed right now... I was aiming for 8 A* so that I could get an honory scholarship - I really wanted it as my family is not doing well financially. I worked my ass off so hard and I missed it by one A*. I got 87/100 for RS and I'm thinking about sending it for a remark but I just dont know if it will be enough time before the scholarships are actually given out and whether or not it is worth it...I'm just a mess right now. I know it seems like good grades but everyone has different expectations of themselves and I put aside basically everything so that I could achieve those 8 A*s and I just screwed up somewhere. Idk

Future ambitions
Was aiming for Oxbridge at first but don't know now... Academics were literally the only thing I focused on, I had zero social life and it didn't even pay off. I know I'm sounding unappreciative but when you aim so high and when you AND everyone else expects more of you, it really puts you down. Everyone thought I was gonna get a scholarship and I'm basically the 'nerd' of my boarding house and now I'm so embarrassed that I'm not getting it... Damn. :/

Aside from that, I hope that everyone else did as well as they expected. :smile:
