Maths/Further Maths Rearranging

I'm now going into Year 13 and am going to be studying Further Maths AS next year. I was wondering if S1 or M1 could be used to increase my Further Maths grade or is this not a thing?
It can do in some cases. However, normal Maths takes priority in maximising your UMS so it depends specifically on your UMS marks and the modules you're taking/you've taken.
If you're self teaching then you need to make sure that your school knows how to habdle it so it is indeed maximised.

So can I not use S1 for both further and normal maths?
