Results day 2017

So, I realise that a) this is kind of thinking a bit too far ahead and b) it's potentially a dumb question I'm about to ask, but... I have heard it said multiple times that IB students don't necessarily get their uni confirmations until a little later on? Is this true? And if so, when approx would we get them?
