Yay! Britain! Invades half the world and then complains about immigrants
Britian.. Where their own workforce is too lazy to work
Britiain, with no summer
Britain, where people don't think before they vote

Although, they have good scones
Britain, the home of Doctor Who!
Don't let any Londoners see this thread, OP will be heralded as a dangerous racist for not tell us all how Britishess means celebrating 'diversity' and other such nonsense.

But yeah, i have come to love the country.

Though they may deny it, Ireland will always be part of us. They are our brethren.

you're a roadman aren't you
I love my home nation and the people in it. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
Yay! Let's list the things! :excited: :clap2: :woo:

* Warm beer. (not so much now)

* Hard cheese. (and I don't mean just the dairy product)

* Melancholy.

* Strange politics, largely 19th Century in character and tone.

* Used to have good TV. Now mainly we watch US things.

* Inability to focus. (for example, on things that really matter)

* Obsession with homes, DIY, programmes about homes, etc, etc. (too tedious to go on)

* Binge drinking. (we would win Gold every time if this was an Olympic sport)

* Curry. Oh and loads of other foreign stuff, including most useful words.

* A bat **** crazy tendency to reject everything from outside this country as somehow dangerous and threatening.

* Underneath it all, realising we are not as above everyone else as we have been told and somewhat worried about this.

:hat2:

One tries, one tries. :teehee:

I missed Dr Who off my list, which is one of the few really good things left about Britain, along with not minding the rain too much and trying not to grumble.
I like our flag and how it has a different name when it's on a ship.

I always check to make sure it's not upside down.

They really aren't though. It's more like an unhappy marriage where the wife wants to leave but the husband won't allow a divorce. Northern Ireland should really just be the north of Ireland at this point.... but yea, go Britain and all :flute:
While Britain certainly has its quirks, I can't be proud of a culture that promotes excessive consumption and idleness to the point where 2/3 of adults are overweight or obese.

Sort yourself out Britain, you're an embarrassment.

I was actually talking about the whole of Ireland, part of the British Isles and eventually (once again) part of the United Kingdom.

You have the minor inconvenience that there's little to no evidence that the north wants out.

Not really sure this is true.

We certainly value liberty more than most but liberalism in the modern vernacular is far more prominent in Europe.
