Explanation on grades threshold (grade boundaries) ??

Hi! Im currently doing CIE AS Psychology. I just checked the grades threshold and I see theres an error. Or its just that I dont understand.

If you have this is the same system but with a different name. So the number of raw marks in the exams are 80 and 70. However, if you total the marks up, paper 1 will be worth more than that of paper 2. When they should be of equal importance. So instead of making both papers worth the same marks (which would be so much easier) they make a fake set of marks designed to reflect your performance in both papers equally. Hope you found that useful. (If so a rep would be nice for the research)
