I am a MASSIVE wes anderson fan and i love all his other movies, bottle rocket, darjeeling limited included, but 2014's The Grand Budapest Hotel felt poor for his standards to me. i didn't hate it but in comparison to the rest of his catalogue which in my eyes are all nothing short of works of genius, i sort of did, it just felt like overkill like he was hyping up every part of his quirky style and throwing as many of them at you as he could. I mean it was still more thoughtful than most of the other stuff released today in the mainstream that has either a superhero in it or a young woman who just got dumped and feels awkward or worse still, both but the guys like one of the last auteurs going and could do better.

Dark Knight is all right I am no really into superhero movies though. But it looks flames can't lie. I can sit through that over Captain America honestly...
