4th AS course Vs EPQ

Should I take a 4th AS level or EPQ?

I am taking maths, Fmaths and physics.
If I take a 4th AS it would either be Psychology or Chemistry, but I don't really have a passion for either.

I want to go to uni, not sure what course yet though.

EPQ would usually be better if it interests you - it would demonstrate an ability in essay writing that is lacking from your other A level choices, it's work more than an AS level in terms of tariff points (not a huge deal for most universities but worth knowing - you'd have the edge numerically over someone with an AS), you can tailor it to your interests and to help you look into something that you might want to study at university and some universities offer lowered A level offers if you have a good grade in EPQ.

EPQ isn't an easy option - so make sure you know what you're getting into. Speak to your tutors and ask if they can show you the work of past students or exemplars from the exam boards.
