Thanks
I'm not Scottish, actually, but I visited it, and I just really liked it! I couldn't think of anything wrong of it, since it offered everything I wanted from a course
I ruled out Cambridge, I just don't think the course is suited to me at all, I'd like to learn with clincial exposure? As I feel I learn better by doing
It's an amazing university, and I sort of want to apply there anyway, but, if the course isn't right, whats the point?
BSMS was just beautiful, the Brighton Falmer Campus was actually amazing
I don't have amazing GCSEs (don't get me wrong, they're very good, but not strong enough for the likes of Cardiff and Oxford) and I don't have a lot of work experience. I do have volunteer work, but, I fear it's not sufficient for some of the universities
I used the Birmingham score calculator, and while I go over the threshold, I don't feel I'm competitive enough
It's also such a massive medical school, and I'd prefer something a bit more intimate
Have fun at the open day!
