Took me a while to spot this: Read the question really really carefully, look for when they call something Iodide/Iodine or Chlorine/Chloride.

I have thought about this for a while too, which is why I figured b can't be right as it is the chlorine atom that's reduced, not chloride. But A doesn't refer it as chloride though...

Iodide is oxidised by Chlorine which is why A isn't right.
