Why is it that parents are more strict on the female child rather than the male child?

I can't say I've experienced that kind of treatment.
From my experience parents are always stricter on the older child. :dontknow:

Depends on how old the older child is...
After 18-20 the older child can never be wrong in the parents opinions....
That's what happens when you choose to be female.
