I've been told I'll be in 18 hours a week for Biomedical Science. I've got my time table, but can't make sense of it. It looks like 9am starts with some days ending at 5pm/6pm/7pm and with 3 hour breaks during each day.

35-40 contact hours depending on labs, then dropped down to 20-30 in second year but there was much more independent study required. This was for aerospace engineering.

I'm pretty sure most people do, or at least they had a similar amount at sixth form.

Mines two hours too! Are you going Uni of Sheffield by chance?
First year: 21 hrs.

Second year first sem: 25 including 4 9 o'clock starts... which is not what you want when you have to live in the city and take the bus in.. :hide: and when you finish at 6 the previous day, it's meh.

Second year second sem: 14 / 16 every 2 weeks, including 2 9 o'clocks.

Maths :hide:

Looks like 16 hours in Y3S1 and 15 in Y3S2.
First year? Lol. The hours are how many you make it my friend

Would not of had maths down as a subject with high contact hours.

Hoping to get mine soon but as it's philosophy it should not be breaking 10 hours a week and looking at their 2015 timetable there were no 9am starts
Well, I'll be starting my first year at the University of Leeds very soon.

Some weeks I have 14 hours, some weeks I have 15 hours. Then for two weeks, I have a field trip (not really... It's in Leeds) on Saturday from 9am-4pm.

I would have less if I didn't pick up two language classes (French and Mandarin). 2 hour practical for French every week O.o...

Not saying my degree. It's quite specialised with only 10 people allowed each year. It's Geography with something...

Surprising, right? I don't have any photos to hand but maths notes are mostly blocks o f words with the occasional spacings and equations.

Good luck, 9 o'clocks are the worst.

Medicine, per week I had-

6 hours of lectures, 3 hours of PBL, 3 hours of clinical skills, 4 hours of placement, 1 hour of anatomy lab, and sometimes half a day SSIP...

So that's between 17 and 21 hours, with a couple of 9am starts
