This looks interesting, might as well join in!
Hi Peeps,
My name's Michelle, 16 years old, just started yr12 like the rest of you I'm sure.
Not many hobbies, but: reading, socialising (if it counts), going to the gym and art&photo manipulation
)
I'm taking: -Economics -Geography -English Lit.Considered doing an AS or the EPQ, but I've heard some Uni's don't even regard it so much, so I suppose it's better to concentrate and spend more time on the subjects I've picked instead to get a better grade.
..I'm also here for advice to be honest.. I really REALLY enjoy
art and photo manipulation to the point I got an
A* in my Art GCSE Final Result, and kind of wanted to take it for A-Levels, but took English instead because it's valued more and I suppose it gives me more uni (and career) course choices in future.. and my mum pretty much disregarded even the idea of doing art.
Any opinions on this? (I got an A in english lit, which surprised me very much- as I was only expecting a B).
Did I make the right decision in doing English Lit. rather than Fine Art?
